WHO WE BUILD FOR / DIAGNOSTIC LABS & CLINICS
Websites and automation for diagnostic labs
Patients queue to book, call to ask if the report is ready, and forget the follow-up their doctor ordered. We build the site that books them in — and the workflows that deliver reports and remember the follow-ups.
WEBSITE ONLY · AUTOMATION ONLY · OR JOINED — EVERY SPEC SOLD SEPARATELY
Sound familiar?
What's still done by hand
Every one of these is a workflow waiting to exist. None of them needs new software your team has to learn.
THE REAL COST
Every 'is my report ready?' call costs a technician a glove change or a receptionist a queue restart. Multiply by daily test volume and the phone becomes your slowest instrument — answering questions the report-delivery workflow answers automatically, the moment results sign off.
- Booking a test means standing at the counter or holding on the phone
- "Is my report ready?" calls interrupt the same technicians processing them
- Reports are printed and collected — or emailed one attachment at a time
- Doctor-ordered follow-ups (three months later) are remembered by nobody
What we'd build
Two pieces — take one, or join them
Each side is a separate engagement with its own scope and price. Plenty of clients start with one and add the other only when it earns its place.
PIECE A — THE WEBSITE
- A lab site with tests, panels, and honest pricing your team updates
- Test booking with slot selection and home-collection requests
- Preparation instructions per test — fasting, timing, what to bring
- Corporate and package pages for the health-checkup season
PIECE B — THE OPERATIONS
- Booking confirmations with prep instructions attached automatically
- Report-ready delivery the moment results are approved — no calls needed
- Follow-up test reminders scheduled from the doctor's advice
- Home-collection routing with time windows and phlebotomist assignment
Example workflows
Three we'd start with
Written the way we'd actually spec them — trigger, steps, outcome. Yours would be drafted from your operation, on the call.
WORKFLOW 01
The counter-free booking
TRIGGER: TEST BOOKED ON THE SITE
- 01Slot confirmed; prep instructions for that exact test go out
- 02Morning-of reminder with fasting status and directions
- 03No-shows get one reschedule link before the slot is released
The queue at the counter moves to the website.
WORKFLOW 02
The report messenger
TRIGGER: REPORT APPROVED BY THE PATHOLOGIST
- 01Patient gets the report link the moment it's signed off
- 02The referring doctor is copied where consent allows
- 03Unopened reports get one reminder the next day
"Is it ready?" calls end — the report arrives first.
WORKFLOW 03
The follow-up keeper
TRIGGER: FOLLOW-UP INTERVAL REACHED
- 01Patient gets a reminder citing the original test and doctor's advice
- 02A booking link offers this week's slots
- 03Booked follow-ups close the loop; the rest get one nudge
The three-month follow-up actually happens in three months.
Heard all day
The questions your customers repeat
A chatbot grounded in your own pages answers these in seconds, cites the source, and hands anything unusual to your team.
- “Do I need to fast for this test? For how long?”
- “When will my report be ready?”
- “Do you do home collection? What does it cost?”
- “Is this test covered by my package / insurance?”
- “Are walk-ins okay or do I need a booking?”
Drawn in ink
What stays human
Automation earns its keep on the repetitive work. These lines don't move — they're where your judgment and your relationships live.
01
The medicine — collection, processing, and pathology review are the profession
02
Abnormal results — flagged reports follow your escalation protocol, human first
03
Patient anxiety — a worried caller reaches a person, not a phone tree
Fair questions
Asked by diagnostic labs & clinics
Patient reports are sensitive. How is delivery handled?
Reports go out as secured links on your own systems, sent to verified numbers, with the audit trail documented. We build the delivery; the data stays with you.
We already have lab software for processing. Conflict?
No — processing stays where it is. The workflows handle what your lab software doesn't: booking, communication, and follow-up.
Can home collection be scheduled through this?
Yes — requests capture address and time window, and each morning's route lands with your collection staff.
Reports must not go to the wrong person. How is that guaranteed?
Delivery goes only to the verified number captured at booking, over links that expire — with every send logged for audit.
We run B2B panels for companies. Does that fit?
Corporate batches get their own lane — bulk bookings, consolidated reporting to HR, and individual reports to each employee.
Do we have to take both the website and the automation?
No. Every service is scoped and sold separately — website only, automation only, or a single workflow to start. The two compound when joined, which is why the page shows both, but nothing requires buying both.
Tell us what your team still does by hand.
Thirty minutes. You'll leave knowing what we'd build, what it would cost, and whether it's worth doing at all.
